New Eagles of Death Metal Album

The Eagles of Death Metal, which features Queens of the Stone Age front man Josh Homme, new album “Heart On” will be released October 21 through Downtown Records. No track listing or cover art for the record has been revealed.

Year Long Disaster Open For Foo’s

Year Long Disaster was only scheduled to open five dates during the Foo Fighters Midwest run, however now have been added to the remainder of the U.S. tour that includes a stop in Cleveland on July 25 at Quicken Loans Arena.

Soulfly Acoustic Video

An acoustic session with Soulfly’s Max Cavalera and Marc Rizzo was recently filmed by the French branch of Roadrunner Records. Cavalera played a mixed bag of songs and reflected on his long career in the business. You can watch the clip here.

New Metallica Footage

New Ozzy Osbourne Album

According to a bulletin posted by Ozzy Osbourne’s MySpace page, the Prince of Darkness will retreat to the studio to work on a new album after his appearances at the Monsters of Rock show in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on Saturday, July 26 and Ozzfest 2008 in Dallas, TX on Saturday, August 9. Oasis Payoff Abby Road

Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher has said that the band paid off the owners of the Abbey Road Studio in London so the band could record its new album there. According to Gallagher, the studio was already booked by U2 for the dates the band were seeking. You can read some entertaining quotes from the lippy brit along with more details on the story here. Oasis‘ new album “Dig Out Your Soul” will be released October 6 through the band own label Big Brother Records.

Scars On Broadway Test Drive

Scars On Broadway’s entire self-titled debut album has been made available to stream here pending a required sign-up. The album will be release in stores on July 29 through Interscope.
