Browns Post Game Show Week 11

What a way to lose a game. That one hurt. Wait. What? Oh, we won? Can the Cleveland Browns find any more ridiculous field goal endings before the season ends? First there was the make-timeout-miss in Oakland, then a standard make in OT against Seattle, then they left one short in Pittsburgh after a phantom hold on a punt return (not to mention the timeout situation), and now the Doink-Boof welostwewon field goal. Crazy. Even crazier - the Browns are 6-4. Start saving bottled water. Click below to get game reaction from Double C and J-man on this wild, frustrating, yet satisfying victory.

  1. Interesting point from Double C that Kyle Boller got better once he realized he had a beard. It’s funny because when I saw Boller’s beard I said, ‘Wow, that guy’s lame. But with his beard he looks like a less lame version of Double C.’

  2. Since this is the NFL stuff, how about my Patriots last night?

Is there any doubt now that they will go undefeated? I know Buffalo isn’t great, but they did put the fear of God into Dallas, who New England also handled.

    I’m giddy.

  3. I love a team that shows no class by going for it on 4th down when they are up by 28…I love a team that keeps the 1st string in until they score 56 because they are trying to make everyone forget SpyGate…

I pray to god someone gets mad enough and just starts late hitting Tom Brady until his head comes off or he breaks his leg…I don’t care which one, just as long as Bill gets screwed…

  4. The Pats “handled” Dallas? I seem to remember Dallas being ahead until late in the third awful. Let’s not let a fullback TD with no time remaining skew your judgement. Dallas could compete with NE and they already proved that.

  5. As much as I loathe most things about Boston and Awful Human Being… I think it’s impossible to dispute that the Pats are by far the best team in football by a wide margin. Games might be “close” by they are never in doubt. I’m going to go vomit blood now.

  6. The colts game wasnt in doubt?

  7. The Colts game was “in doubt” due to the biased officiating. It was seriously gut-wrenching to watch the referees try to hand the Colts the game.

  8. LOL. Leave it to a Pats fan to say the refs were trying to give the colts the game. Did the refs also force the Pats defenders to display horrific tackling on Addai’s catch and run before the half?

  9. Let’s go back and look at the box score:
    http://scores.espn.go.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=271104011

TEN penalties for 146 yards for the Patriots
FOUR for a mere 25 yards for the Colts

We had better total yardage, were 7-12 on third down

THe capper on all the bullshit penalties was Ellis Hobb’s “Pass Interference” call on HIM when Reggie Wayne tackled him.

Here is Simmons’s recap of the game where he correctly compares it with the final soccer match in “Victory”.

  10. You forgot to mention the no-call when Moss pushed off like he does every week. I guess the Pats should be more disciplined huh? Maybe if they didn’t have a history of cheap shots, refs would give them the benefit of the doubt? You are seriously referencing a sports guy article? I love simmons, but there is no bigger homer than he is in regards to his favorite teams. Pats fans just saw some big weaknesses on defense during that game and instead of admitting this, they use the “ref” excuse. Their LB’s are slow and Harrison is clearly slowing down. which is weird, considering it was just this year he cheated and used an illegal substance. Pats are the best team, but they are beatable. Not many teams could, but it could happen. My hope is the go undefeated during the regular season and then get knocked out of playoffs. i would love to see cheating bill’s smirk when that happens.

Let's hear what you have to say:
