I think some people would have enjoyed a live look in on the Joey Brian Bowl from year to year, sometimes twice a year beginning with the initial romp, the three yards and a cloud of dust early days, my missing field goals, Joey taking Lang so i cant get him and then benching him behind AC Slater. This may be one of the underrated rivalries of all time. There was so much bad blood and ridiculous looks coupled with dramatics. This game was typically played around week 12-15 with both teams tending to be undefeated where the winner would lose in the playoffs. I think this feud would be enjoyed by the masses.
As someone who watched said Madden feud grow with each day… I totally agree. When a completely sober human being is sent into a rage that causes him to punch a hole directly through a wall…from playing a videogame…that’s some drama the world can enjoy…at least more than those dorks on Madden Nation
